Sometimes I read a blog post that makes me throw my fist in the air and holler "Yes!" It really drives my dog and cats nuts. I discovered the blog Mes Deaux Cents through a link to my site. (Thanks, Mes Deaux! Or is that Ms. Cents?) I loved the post "To be loved is to be known." Check it out below. Every woman needs to embrace this philosophy. Men too, but I think it is more often women who are encouraged to remake themselves to be more attractive to the opposite sex.
Back in my single days, I once told a co-worker that I had a date. She recommended that I "not be all sarcastic like you usually are." I really disliked that coworker. She regularly mangled the King's English in ways that sent this grammar geek into fits, and she wore this too-small pair of gold strappy heels that left her bunioned baby toes hanging over the edge, bleccchh...but I digress. Mr. What Tami Said loves my sarcasm and matches it with his own East Coast blend of snark. So there!
Mes Deux Cents: To be loved is to be known

Hi Tami,
First, I really like your blog. Your talking about your co-workers 'too small pair of gold strappy heels' gave me a nice laugh this morning.
The name of my blog Mes Deux Cents translated from french means My Two Cents.
And I agree, women tend to try to re-make themselves to please others. Not just for men but for our friends and family as well.
Thanks for the link!
