I love Jill!
And, oh my God, this video brings back memories of high school and being in luuurve with Duran Duran. My walls were covered with Duran posters. I bought every new issue of Tiger Beat and Bop. I had t-shirts and buttons and videos. I stalked the import section of the record store. My girlfriends and I would watch this video religiously and squeal and squeal.

Why can't I seem to really get into Jill's music? I really don't have a clue but I'm not a jill Scott fan.
I don't dislike her music but I don't seek it out either.
It's so wierd because as they say, on paper I should really like her.
I just don't get me on this one.
Any thoughts? (lol)
I love Jill Scott. She came to my college (Rutgers) and did some spoken word. I was really a fan after that.
@ MDC: I'm shocked...I would have bet money that you liked Jill Scott. I'm glad I didn't. I would have lost money that I don't have. LOL.
