Isiah Thomas draws a foul in harassment deposition

Will the idiocy ever end? In his Sept. 18 deposition in the harassment lawsuit filed by a former New York Knicks executive, coach Isiah Thomas shared his philosophy on the fine art of devaluing women. On a videotape of the interview, the former Detroit Piston said that he would find it more offensive if a white male called a black female a "bitch," than if a black male used the same term when speaking to a black female.

Let me get this straight…being called a bitch in the workplace is less soul destroying if the slur comes from a black man? “Back off, white man! Only black men get to oppress black women!” Absurd.

Hate speech and ignorance is damaging no matter where it comes from. So, I’m expecting all self-proclaimed leaders and protectors of the black community to publicly call Thomas to task.
