Remember when I said that the nontroversy over Wanda Sykes' performance at the Washington Correspondents' Association dinner was more about who gets to say what about whom? Well, Christopher Hitchens, noted gin-soaked gasbag and contributor to Slate and Vanity Fair, has confirmed my suspicions. New York magazine quotes Hitchens on Sykes:

Within Hitchens criticism, do I hear a little envy that this good comedian could not only make people laugh at the event but keep em talking for days afterward?
