Two songs that "Glee" effed up

I love the campy goodness of "Glee." I'm a music nut, so I enjoy singing along to the show's faithful renditions of classic rock ("Don't Stop Believin') or falling in love with a unique take on an old song ("I Want To Hold Your Hand"), sometimes, though, I find myself thinking "I wish they'd left that song alone." Case in point, these two songs from Tuesday's episode of "Glee."

The "Glee" kids' clean, Autotuned voices washed all the passion and quirk from Florence and the Machine's "Dog Days Are Over." Even stripped down and live, Florence and the Machine does it better:

Amy Winehouse's "Valerie." Yes, I know this is a Zutons song, but I prefer Winehouse's slower, soulful version. I wanted to embed the singer doing this song live, cause it's amazing. But embedding is disabled on that video. Enjoy the one below, but check this out, too.
