Even though I have our cable provider's mega-awesome, super big money package with all the premium, HD and barely-heard-of channels, I frequently find myself lamenting, "There just isn't shit on worth watching." I can count the shows that are must-see-TV for me on one hand. Where has all the smart, funny television gone?
The answer to that may be: Online.
I'm particularly digging three Web series: The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, Vag Magazine and Chick. These series are not only smart and funny, but also something else you don't often see on television--woman-centered with women in key roles behind and in front of the camera.
