was captured. He was responsible for a host of heinous actions, including the deaths of thousands of people here and abroad. I understand that for some 9/11 survivors, Bin Laden's capture provides a measure of closure, though it cannot bring back those who were lost. And while I am not convinced that we are measurably safer with Al Qaeda's mastermind gone, one less threat--one big threat neutralized--is a positive thing. Osama Bin Laden was a bad man. But I agree with @IssaMas who posted this on Twitter:
