This morning, as I washed my hair in the shower, I noticed that for the first time in a long while, my curls didn't droop to fully cover my face. I didn't feel the tickle of hair on the top of my back. My fingers didn't slip so easily through my mane. I'm two days into a pledge to wash-n-go until spring and I'm already wondering if I'm going to make it. And I thought I was past all this.
